Mountain gorilla hiking is unquestionably one of Volcanoes National Park’s attractions. Dian Fossey, who dedicated her life to their protection, is responsible for the park’s fame. The Virunga Mountains are surrounded by lush high-altitude rainforests, which are home to mountain gorillas. You can go on a Golden Monkey hunt or go on a variety of walks in this beautiful volcanic setting. Nyungwe Forest National Park visitors can go chimp trekking, observe a variety of different monkey species, and take a canopy walk.
